Brand New nursery - Senior Deputy Manager
This is a great role for a candidate who is wanting to join a great a professional organisation opening a new nursery.
You will be instrumental in setting up the nursery to become a great success!
You will work in partnership with the Nursery Manager, driving forward the best practice and standards of care and education.
Some of your responsibilities will be:
To achieve and maintain high standards of care and education
To effectively lead and manage the staff team including recruitment and retention
To effectively manage the budget and occupancy levels to ensure the nursery is profitable
To ensure all policies and procedures are implemented and adhered to at all times
To Implement an effective parent liaison programme.
You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:
NNEB, CACHE level 3, NVQ level 3 or equivalent
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work to targets and deadlines
Good time management skills
Excellent knowledge of health and safety legislation
Knowledge of OFSTED standards
Excellent communication skills
Strong people management skills
Knowledge and understanding of equal opportunities/SENCO etc.
