My client is currently looking for a Deputy Manager (RGN) for a medium sized dual registered nursing home / care home in Swanage. This home provides nursing & social care for frail elderly and mentally infirm. The home has an excellent reputation and a \"good\" rating from the Care Quality Commission. As part of a team your role will include:40 hours/weekManage the home in the absence of the general manager.Act as clinical lead within the home.Manage all registered nurses and implement training/induction programs for all care staff.Ensure the highest level of care is delivered throughout the home.Perform quality management and audits in the home.Work with the general manager in improving the quality rating from CQCFollow up enquiries on private beds.The Candidate:RGN qualification with experience of working with elderly care within a nursing homeHave a valid NMC Pin Number Complete satisfactory POVA and CRB checksMust have experience at supervisory level within a nursing home.Understanding the NMC code of conductExcellent clinical skills and supervisory experienceAbility to lead and motivate other staff membersExcellent communication skills both written and verbalSenior nurses will be considered for this role.Salary: £27,000 - £30,000/annum or £12.98 - £14.42/hourIf your experience matches please forward your CV immediatelyWhite Recruitment Ltd is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy
