Job Description

A great opportunity for a qualified accountant looking for their first move from practice or an experienced internal auditor seeking a new challenge in a progressive environment within a FTSE100 business. This is a highly profitable, fast paced division with excellent potential for career growth. Responsibilities will be varied & include:- * Deliver Business Assurance audits * Deliver audit reports that are factual, relevant and provide assurance to the recipient as to the results of the audit, identify any actual or potential customer detriment and the mitigating actions to be taken by management. * Update the audit issue and action database for all new entries and ensure updates are accurately recorded * Maintain a working knowledge of Business Unit and client activity * Contribute to investigations as required * Track delivery of own audit assignments and other activity against plan * Ensure that audit assignment planning activity is performed rigorously and that potential duplications with other assurance functions (internal and external) is minimised * Ensure that Treating Customer Fairly principles are considered at all stages of the audit process The successful applicant will be a qualified auditor or accountant, ideally with some financial services exposure, with strong relationship building skills & the ability to liaise at all levels.
